Custom Designed Fixturing for the Manufacturing Industry


Aware of Precision Bearing & Machine, Inc.'s expertise, a client approached us to fabricate custom fixtures that would be used to maximize efficiency in manufacturing and assembly of parts in an automotive paint line.

We fabricated the fixtures using our laser cutters, CNC milling and turning capabilities, and water jet cutters. The materials for the fixtures varied and included carbon steel, stainless steel, miscellaneous alloys, plastics, and other metals. Fabrication utilized our CNC bending and welding capabilities, which included precision MIG or TIG welding. The fixtures measured 24" x 36" x 34" and met tolerances of ± .030". In producing these high performance fixtures, we employed our reverse engineering capabilities to produce a full production run of fixtures from a customer supplied prototype.
